American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with TN or compact licensure for a night shift position requiring Med/Surg and telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:30 to 07:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and telemetry experience required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Accepts first-time travelers

Additional Information

• Contract RNs are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care duties
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Scrub or dress code details not specified
• Holiday coverage may be expected per unit needs
