American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU position requiring a KY or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.

Details

• Position is in a 34-bed Stepdown/PCU unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is typically 1:5 but may fluctuate based on census or call-ins
• Meditech EMR is used in this unit
• Night shift schedule of 19:00-07:30
• Shifts follow a 36/48 hour bi-weekly rotation
• Orientation is provided bi-weekly

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccination or approved exemption
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include caring for stepdown and progressive care patients
• Travel pairs are not allowed unless there are extenuating circumstances
• Local candidates are not accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on scheduling needs
