Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift contract requiring Iowa or compact licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating may be required within the same discipline across local campuses
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR system used is Epic; previous Epic experience is beneficial

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS through AHA
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a med/surg tele environment
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary care team
• Required to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Limited to one day of requested time off between late November and early January
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided at start
• First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel experience required
