Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion position specializing in Urology and GYN Oncology with a current DC RN license.

Details

Work in an outpatient infusion center setting
Primary patient population includes Urology and GYN Oncology cases
Administers chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, including intravesical bladder instillations for bladder cancer
Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8s)
Uses Oncology MedConnect (Cerner) for charting

Requirements

Active DC RN license required prior to consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient oncology nursing experience
Current BLS certification and chemotherapy (ONC/ONCC) provider card required
Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and intravesical bladder instillations necessary
Familiarity with infusion center workflows and outpatient oncology care

Additional Information

Primary responsibilities involve administering and monitoring chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments for oncology patients
Preference given to candidates holding a Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card
Team-based environment focused on oncology patient care
Scrubs or dress code requirements are facility standard
