American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor with leadership experience and an active MA RN license for a rotating 12-hour shift position.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting supervising multiple nursing units and departments
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Position covers evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Patient population ranges from infancy to geriatrics
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, timely patient care

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 5 years of staff RN experience including charge nurse responsibilities in an acute care setting
• Demonstrated leadership experience in nursing
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required
• Nursing degree required (diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred)
• Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B
• Two professional references required, with one at the manager level and a recent performance evaluation

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising patient care on multiple units during assigned shifts
• Acts as the on-site hospital representative accountable for operational and administrative activities
• Evaluates and provides clinical direction to nursing staff
• Makes staffing decisions to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
• Member of the Nursing Leadership Team and involved in divisional planning and goal achievement
