American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Need ICU position requiring a current CA license and recent ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for critically ill adult patients
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
• Preferred: 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification and CCRN
• Preferred: Dialysis or SLED experience

• Responsibilities include providing advanced nursing care to adults with critical health conditions
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Must comply with contingency worker assignment limits per HR policy, not to exceed two years without 90 days off
