Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience, with night shifts and current MD or compact license.

Details

• Work in a telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Care for medical-surgical and cardiac telemetry patient populations
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
• Every third weekend required
• Float to medical-surgical and MS/Tele units as needed
• One major holiday per contract required

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• First-time travelers will be considered

• Responsibilities include providing care to patients with telemetry needs and monitoring cardiac rhythms
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
• Holiday coverage required for one major holiday during the contract
