American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience with rotating day and night shifts.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes those requiring medical-surgical, telemetry, and cardiac telemetry level care
• Schedule consists of 3x12 hour rotating day and night shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating to ICU and Med Surg may be required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for IMC patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Team structure may involve floating to different units as needed
• Every other weekend and rotating shifts are standard
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
