Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN with at least 18 months of permanent endoscopy experience, a current OH or compact RN license, and BLS & ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Endoscopy unit
• Care for patients across pre-op, intra-procedure, and post-op endoscopy phases
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
• No PBDS assessment required; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests completed during orientation

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent endoscopy RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• One supervisory reference in specialty required for consideration
• Facility does not accept license or background check hits with open cases

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, endoscopy procedure assistance, and post-operative patient care
• Annual and pre-start online learning modules are required and tracked by Silkroad
• Fingerprinting and badge pick-up must be completed onsite prior to start
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, with a 6-month break required before returning
• Candidates who have been permanent or per diem staff at Cleveland Clinic hospitals must wait 1 year before returning
