American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery nurse for a high-risk L&D unit with night shifts and advanced certifications required.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit specializing in high-risk obstetric care
• Patient population includes high-acuity laboring mothers and newborns
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
• Call required: 36 hours per 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period, with a 45-minute onsite response time
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Floating required within skillset to Mom/Baby, postpartum, and related units

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM
• AWHONN and triage experience preferred
• Ability to circulate and provide fetal heart monitoring required
• Experience as a preceptor and/or charge nurse preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for high-risk patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Will be part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Every other holiday and weekend coverage required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Locals within 60 miles are accepted
