American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and strong recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotating schedule; shifts may be variable to meet operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Qualivis – Lotus platform used for submitting hours worked

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele within the past two years required
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Oncology or chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not mandatory; training provided for qualified nurses
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation

Additional Information

• Opportunities available for nurses interested in gaining or using oncology and chemotherapy administration skills
• Traveler assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location must not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A minimum 6-month gap required between assignments at Cleveland Clinic locations
• Two professional references needed for consideration
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the rotating schedule
