Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring a compact or MD RN license, community hospital background, and travel experience.

Details

• Position is in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool of a community hospital
• Requires floating within skillset and patient acuity as needed
• Care for a diverse medical/surgical and telemetry patient population
• 12-hour rotating shifts including days (7:00-19:30) and nights (19:00-7:30)
• Required to work every other weekend

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms

Additional Information

• Must float between units based on skillset and patient acuity
• Position includes both day and night shift rotations
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
