American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatric ICU position in California, requiring active CA RN licensure and pediatric critical care certifications.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Patient population consists of critically ill pediatric patients
• Utilizes Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time PICU RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), active at time of consideration
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Care for pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions
• Must comply with all assignment duration limits per HR policy
• Open to both local and travel candidates at the same compensation rate
• Holiday and weekend shift coverage may be required per unit needs
• Orientation provided at start of assignment
