American Traveler is seeking a PICU RN with 5 years of cardiac and straight PICU experience for night shifts in California with EPIC charting.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Cares for pediatric patients requiring intensive and specialized cardiac care
• Uses EPIC EMR for documentation
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience
• Minimum 5 years of direct PICU experience, not including floating
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS and PALS certifications required and must be active at time of consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Handles pediatric intensive care with a focus on cardiac patients
• Must be able to use the EPIC charting system
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Assignment is subject to tenure limits for contingent workers
• Documentation of active licenses and certifications is required for consideration
