Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring wound care and teaching experience in a community-based setting.

Details

Work in a home health environment providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
Expected to see 6 patients per day
Day shift schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm, 5 days per week
Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of skilled home health experience including wound care and patient education
Current BLS certification required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Additional Information

Responsibilities include wound care, medication and treatment teaching, infection control, pain assessment and management, and vital sign monitoring
Will communicate status changes to care team and handle pharmacy/patient refill requests
