Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Adult Mental Health) day shift position requiring an AR or compact RN license and at least one year of recent psychiatric nursing experience.

Details

• Position is in an adult mental health unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Behavioral health patient population focused on adult mental health cases
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months

Additional Information

• No local travelers permitted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than 1 week
• Former permanent staff of the associated health system are not eligible for travel positions within 2 years of permanent employment
• Travelers must not have been employed as permanent staff at any associated facilities within the past 2 years
