American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit in an innovative hospital environment with a 2-year experience requirement and every other weekend scheduling.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed Med/Surg unit focused on new technologies and innovative nursing practices
• Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6
• Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Uses Hercules beds and may implement new equipment and nursing models

Requirements

• Current VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS certification required
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Locals not accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unit staff are early adopters of new equipment and nursing practices
• Candidates must be prepared to work assigned holidays as per rotation policy
• Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to assignment
