Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a day shift Electrophysiology Lab position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least one year of EP lab experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Electrophysiology Lab
• 4x10 hour day shifts per week with no weekends specified
• Patient population includes those requiring electrophysiology and minor diagnostic procedures
• Team-based environment with collaboration between physicians, nurses, and support staff

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an electrophysiology or procedural lab setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Strong assessment skills and ability to independently function in specialty area

Additional Information

• No local candidates permitted; must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
• Responsibilities include monitoring, documentation, assisting with procedures, medication administration, and supporting patient and family education
• Expected to delegate and oversee tasks performed by support staff
• Must maintain effective working relationships and communication within the interdisciplinary team
• EP Lab experience is required to be considered for this position
