Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and a valid MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a 36-hour work week
• Care for laboring mothers and newborns
• Use of Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of practice
• On-call may be required during scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana or compact state required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Labor & Delivery
• ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit is preferred
• Must submit documentation of DOB and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for laboring patients
• Provide direct and indirect care including therapies, health counseling, and education
• Must document in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements
• Former permanent employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
• Compliance with background check and drug screen timeline is mandatory
• First-time travelers may be considered
