Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN with a current CA license, BLS, ACLS, and recent cardiac cath and IR experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Requires experience with Cerner EMR
• No blocked or self-scheduling
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required

Requirements

• Active and valid CA RN license is required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab and IR experience preferred
• At least 1 year of acute care experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• No first-time travelers will be considered
• Must pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
• Candidates must not have worked as a traveler at the facility within the past year

Additional Information

• Must provide all RTO (requested time off) at the time of application; no changes allowed after submission
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Team-based environment with required support from experienced professionals
• Must follow unit dress code and pass all required testing prior to start
• Candidates must provide at least one supervisory reference from the past year
