Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring ICU experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit
• Patient population includes intermediate care requiring familiarity with cardiac drips
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Float required within scope to three hospitals located within 20 miles
• Epic EMR is used and experience at level 3 or 4 is required
• Short term acute care and teaching facility

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license; pending license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience and ICU experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine free and able to pass a negative 10-panel plus cotinine (nicotine) drug screening

• First-time travelers will be considered
