American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Medicine Stepdown unit with active MA RN license and MS/Tele experience required.

Details

• Position is in a Medicine Stepdown Intermediate unit within a hospital setting
• Care for medical-surgical patients requiring stepdown and telemetry monitoring
• Work involves day/night rotation with every other weekend required
• Utilizes Epic charting system; prior Epic experience preferred
• Multiple openings available for a 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and telemetry experience required
• Certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination is required without exemptions

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a stepdown/telemetry setting
• Must be able to work both day and night shifts as assigned, including every other weekend
• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; pay rate adjusted accordingly
• Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid parking options are available
• Two professional references are required for consideration
