American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in Labor & Delivery within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Patient care focuses on laboring and delivering mothers, including high-risk obstetrics
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• High-risk OB experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Preferred: 5+ years of recent experience and at least 1 year of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive care of mothers in active labor, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and supporting the obstetric team
• Must have all licenses and certifications active at the time of consideration; pending documentation is not accepted
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• May not exceed two years of cumulative employment without a 90-day break according to policy
• Flu and COVID vaccination documentation may be required
