American Traveler is hiring an experienced Psychiatric RN for a second shift role caring for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in an acute inpatient setting.

Details

• Work in an acute inpatient hospital specializing in psychiatric and substance abuse care
• Serve a patient population ranging from ages 5 to geriatric, with a focus on adults for this shift
• Treat a wide spectrum of mental health and behavioral disorders as well as substance use addictions
• Second shift with night hours, including every other weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, monitoring, and intervention for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Must adhere to a 30-mile radius rule for local or travel rate determination
• Expect to provide care across varying age groups as needed
