American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position on a general surgery and trauma unit requiring a KS or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Work on a 36-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes general surgery and trauma cases
• Level 1 trauma center environment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 for a 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA is required
• Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

Additional Information

• NIH Certification and MOAB De-Escalation Training are beneficial but not required
• All Ascension positions are auto-offer positions
• Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule
• COVID vaccination is no longer required by the facility
• Holiday and weekend coverage is determined by unit needs
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license and two references for consideration
