American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring recent CVOR scrub heart experience and a current OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting
• Primary focus on open heart and vascular procedures
• Day shift schedule (4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 to 17:30)
• Holiday coverage required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months of permanent CVOR RN experience required prior to travel
• Recent CVOR scrub heart experience is mandatory
• One recent supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) within specialty required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required
• All certifications must be active at time of consideration
• Candidates with open background cases or license issues will not be considered

Additional Information

• Responsible for assisting and circulating during cardiovascular surgical cases, emphasizing open heart procedures
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be passed within two attempts during orientation
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Permanent and per diem staff must wait 1 year after ending employment before returning to work at this health system
• Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and FBI fingerprinting must be completed onsite within 48 hours of contract signing
• Assignments may not exceed 18 consecutive months with a required 6 month break before a new assignment, unless otherwise agreed upon
• Annual mandatory learning modules must be completed as assigned
• PAPRs will not be provided for staff with facial hair except for approved medical or religious exemptions
