Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift adult psychiatric position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and at least one year of recent behavioral health experience.

Details

• Work in an adult mental health unit within a healthcare facility
• Night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population includes adult psychiatric patients
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing
• No gaps of 90 days or more in work history within the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years

Additional Information

• Handles patient care and safety for adults requiring mental health services
• RTO (requested time off) must be less than 1 week
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Returning travelers must abide by the two-year rule for previous permanent employment
