American Traveler has an opening for an experienced RN to join a skilled nursing sub-acute care team on night shifts in Wisconsin, requiring a WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a skilled nursing facility providing sub-acute care
• Night shift (noc) schedule from 1830 to 0700, totaling 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other in-patient units based on census needs

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required and must be current
• Current BLS certification is required
• Prior skilled nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to policy and standards
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policies
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate concerns as needed
