American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in New York requiring EPIC EMR and 2 years of recent ED experience.

Details

• Work in a busy Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Requires care of diverse adult and pediatric emergency patient populations
• Use of EPIC EMR is mandatory for all staff
• No blocked scheduling is permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Previous EPIC EMR experience is required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical documentation is required for FLU exemption; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted

Additional Information

• Competency testing may be required as part of onboarding
• Travelers may not live in any of the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington
• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
