Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position requiring a current CA RN license and recent PICU experience.

Details

• Position is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Work schedule is 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM for night shifts
• 40 hours per week with an assignment length of 21 weeks
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent PICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Bachelors degree in nursing or related field is preferred
• Licenses and certifications must be active; pending licenses not accepted

Additional Information

• Care for pediatric patients with critical and intensive care needs
• Candidates must provide the last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for employment consideration
• All local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Assignment cannot exceed two years with the facility without a 90-day break
