American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care position in New York requiring EPIC experience and current NY RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
• Care for neurological patients requiring progressive care
• Use of EPIC EMR is required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Three or more call outs in 13 weeks may lead to contract termination with required make-up shifts
• No local candidates allowed from specified counties within a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent neuro progressive or related specialty experience required
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI are required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Must have US Social Security Number (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Competency testing required for ICU units and for applicants with less than 2 years Med/Surg experience
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccination

• Travelers may only be considered for one position with the facility
• Travel pairs are not permitted
• Completed clinical interview form is required for consideration
• Two professional references, skills checklist, and state license verification are required
• Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Make-up shifts for call outs must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call out
