Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a current CA RN license, BLS, and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.

Details

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a women's and children's hospital setting
• Patient population consists of laboring mothers, including high-risk and obstetric cases
• Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 10-week assignment with full-time 40 hours per week schedule
• Uses Epic electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Preferred qualifications include a BSN, 5+ years of recent L&D experience, and 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and monitoring for laboring mothers, including those with high-risk obstetric needs
• Must have all licenses and certifications active at the time of consideration
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• All contingent workers are subject to a policy limiting assignments to two years within the system before a mandatory 90-day break
• Compliance with facility testing and vaccination requirements is expected
