American Traveler is seeking an LPN for a clinic-based, day shift assignment in Iowa, requiring a current active license and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a clinic setting specializing in urology
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Day shift schedule
• Responsible for patient medical record documentation, specimen collection and preparation, and medication administration as ordered

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program
• Current and active Iowa nursing license required if applicable
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required or must be obtained within three months of hire
• Three years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care setting preferred
• Basic PC skills and comfort with Windows Operating Systems
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under minimal supervision

Additional Information

• Experience with acute care, home health nursing for cardiac or diabetic patients, phone triage, ER triage, MD office triage, and combined adult/pediatric care is preferred
• Must possess superior nursing process skills and strong patient service orientation
• Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills are essential
• Professional organization membership or specialty certification is highly desired
