American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor with DC licensure and strong leadership experience for a night shift MS/Tele position.

Details

• Position is for a Clinical Supervisor on a MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week travel contract
• Care provided to a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• Cerner EMR is used and prior experience is required

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical supervisor and progressive care unit (PCU) experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA only)
• CPI certification mandated for this position
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN highly preferred
• Must have relevant US hospital experience in the specialty area

• Provides shift-to-shift clinical oversight, staffing, patient flow, safety, and resource utilization
• Maintains the care environment and provides age-appropriate patient care
• Leads or participates in department process improvement initiatives
• Facilitates employee engagement activities, including participation in shared governance
• Must be able to work during holiday periods as coverage is required
• Candidate must reside at least 25 miles from the facility
• Two professional manager or supervisor references are preferred to verify recent experience
