American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and three years of Med-Surg experience.

Details

• Position is in a hospital-based 31-bed Med/Surg unit
• Care provided to diverse med/surg patient population
• 12-hour night shifts are required
• Uses Meditech and OBIX for documentation and Pyxis Supply Stations
• No floating to other units or departments

Requirements

• Active Alaska (AK) RN license required
• Current BLS and HS AED certifications required
• Minimum of three years Med-Surg nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking skills necessary

Additional Information

• Three-day Meditech and OBIX training plus unit-specific orientation provided
• Completion of Medication Testing required within first two weeks onsite
• Scrubs are provided
• On-call coverage may be required as needed
