Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with an active NY license for a Critical Care Float Pool night shift position requiring EPIC experience and AHA or RQI certifications.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Float Pool covering various ICU units in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating among ICU, including Neuro and Surgical ICU units, is required
• EPIC EMR is used and prior experience is required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination is required unless a medical exemption signed by a licensed professional is provided
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Local candidates from specific counties within a 50 mile radius are not eligible

Additional Information

• Competency testing must be passed within 2 attempts for all ICU units
• No travel pairs allowed for this position
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
• More than 3 call outs within a 13 week period may result in contract termination, and make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application
