Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with a valid CA license and at least 2 years of operating room experience for a day shift role.

Details

• Work in a hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Day shifts with 4 ten-hour shifts per week, starting at 6:45 AM and ending at 5:15 PM
• Weekend rotation is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May occasionally float to outpatient surgery
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Experience with orthopedics, vascular, and robotic surgery required
• Scrubbing experience is highly recommended
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of holistic nursing care
• Facilitate patient and family education and transitions of care
• Maintain collaborative communication with multidisciplinary care teams
• Must be available for required lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance
• Modules will be completed during orientation and are recorded through e-learning
• Only one holiday request off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Previous employees must be gone at least one year before returning as travelers
• Accepts local candidates
