American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down Unit (SDU) position in California requiring a current CA RN license and cardiac rhythm recognition skills.

Details

• Work in a hospital Step Down Unit (SDU) setting
• Care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent SDU or similar experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience in cardiac rhythm recognition
• Submission of last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must have all valid licenses and certifications at time of consideration; pending documents not accepted
• Local candidates are welcome at the same rate as travelers
• May not exceed two years of employment within the affiliated health system without a 90-day break per tenure policy
