American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Ohio, requiring Level 1 trauma and circulating experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Assignment involves circulating across multiple specialties, including Orthopedics (Trauma, Joints, Sports Medicine, Shoulders) and DaVinci robotic procedures
• Shifts are typically 12 hours, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call is required, generally after 7:00 PM on weekdays and 24-hour call on weekends
• May float to 2nd floor Outpatient ORs
• Patient population primarily surgical with Level 1 trauma cases
• Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience is required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience circulating in OR is required; conscious sedation and scrub experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager

Additional Information

• Primary responsibility is circulating for surgical cases in a Level 1 trauma environment
• May be required to assist with conscious sedation and robotic procedures
• Must be available for on-call shifts, including weekends
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate
• Previous employees are eligible after a 6-month gap; current employees are not eligible
• Fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
• Requested time off must be submitted with application
• Scrub attire guidelines will be provided during orientation
• First-time travelers are encouraged to have prior travel or complex OR experience
