Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a FL or compact RN license and at least one year of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Med Surg unit
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend work is required as part of the schedule
• Floating is required to all three campuses: Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula
• Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of Med Surg RN experience required
• Five years of experience in Med Surg specialty and previous travel experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel status
• Must not have worked at the facility within the past year

Additional Information

• Required to wear navy blue scrubs according to hospital dress code
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be able to float between campuses as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required for consideration
