American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in a cardiovascular unit working night shifts with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) on the 2nd floor of a hospital
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on heart disease patients
• 14-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Charting performed using Epic EMR system
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Work schedule includes every other weekend
• Floating required as needed within the nurse's skillset to like units and float pool

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience caring for patients with heart disease preferred
• Ability to float to units within area of clinical expertise
• Flu and COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include providing progressive care to cardiovascular patients
• Team environment with support from float pool and similar units
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Offer acceptance required within 24 hours
