American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Level II NICU position in Texas requiring 2 years of neonatal experience and a TX or compact license.

Details

• Work in a Level II Neonatal ICU with 8 NICU bays
• Patient population consists of infants requiring specialized neonatal care
• Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Required to float to the Transition Nursery as needed
• Navy scrubs must be worn on shift

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required; all must be through AHA
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Candidates must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US address

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to infants, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and manage neonatal equipment
• Support families through education and emotional care
• Collaborate with neonatologists and the healthcare team to ensure quality and safety
• COVID vaccination is no longer required for this position
