Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a float pool position requiring two years of experience and a current NJ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Float Pool supporting various hospital units
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Must be willing to float to other hospital units and to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum two years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current COVID-19 vaccine and booster required with no exemptions
• One recent supervisory or manager reference within the past year required for consideration
• Nursys verification required for all RNs
• Must pass EKG and medication administration tests if required by specialty

Additional Information

• Completion of online training modules is required pre-start and annually
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are eligible for consideration
• Must not have been a prior permanent employee of this health system
• Lab work must be initiated within two business days of acceptance
• Expected to float between Paramus and the Ridgewood offsite location as operationally needed
