American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) Telemetry position requiring an active OK or compact RN license, with floating to sister facilities and weekend coverage.

Details

• Position is in an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring
• Patient population includes bariatric surgery, stroke, acute respiratory failure, falls, aneurysm, and encephalopathy cases
• 34 staffed beds in the unit
• Day shift schedule: 7:00am to 7:00pm, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Requires floating to other areas and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
• Epic EMR is used; prior experience preferred

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience, specifically in intermediate care or similar setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must provide a current and valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
• Utility bill with matching address dated within the last three months, showing residence more than 75 miles from facility
• Must be willing and able to float to other facilities
• No current or previous permanent employees of Integris within the past 1 year eligible
• Only one submittal allowed per traveler to all Integris campuses
• Gaps of 3 months or more in work history must be explained

Additional Information

• Provide care for diverse IMC patient populations requiring telemetry and advanced monitoring
• Required to complete modules (2-8 hours) as part of orientation, varying by specialty
• No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• No holiday time off requests are accepted; a maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed per 13-week contract
• Team involves collaborative work across unit and with other facilities
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
