American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric ER RN with Level 1 or 2 trauma and Epic charting experience for night shifts in Oregon.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Patient population consists of pediatric emergencies; general ED for all ages experience accepted
• No floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year of Pediatric ER experience (Level 1 preferred, Level 2 acceptable)
• Current BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions
• Two professional references from a supervisor or manager within the last 24 months required (3-5 years accepted when documented attempts demonstrate inability to collect within 24 months)
• No background or license issues accepted
• Must not have worked at the facility as staff or traveler in the past 6 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing emergency nursing care to pediatric patients in a trauma setting
• Candidates may be asked to float to affiliate hospitals if needed
• Modules must be completed prior to start and are recorded via transcripts
• Return staff must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• No distance radius restrictions, local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and may not exceed 2 weeks
