American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health Home Hospital assignment providing acute psychiatric care in a home health setting with active MA licensure required.

Details

• Provides in-person, hospital-level psychiatric nursing care to patients in their homes as part of a pilot research trial
• Home health role with a focus on behavioral health and acute psychiatric patient population
• Patient assignments up to 4 patients, with a minimum of twice-daily in-person nursing visits
• Works as part of an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, home health aides, and mental health specialists
• Utilizes Epic EMR for documentation
• Shift schedule is 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Patient care may be provided in various community settings

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Proof of professional license required for consideration
• Familiarity with Epic charting preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Role includes independent care planning, implementation, assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, providing ongoing patient education, and using a recovery oriented framework
• Participates in scheduled training sessions prior to program start
• Daily responsibilities include medication administration, 24/7 monitoring, and facilitating remote group therapy access for patients
• No validated parking provided at Boston locations; public transportation and paid parking options available
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston are accepted but paid at a reduced rate
• UKG/Kronos used for timekeeping
