Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, night shifts, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

• Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Care provided for laboring mothers and newborns
• Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP (provider) certifications required, all AHA or American Red Cross
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery nursing experience required
• Must be comfortable caring for both mothers and newborns
• Ability to complete required modules during orientation
• Candidates must be able to go for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

Additional Information

• Only one holiday request off will be approved during the contract
• Return staff must have at least one year since last assignment to return as a traveler
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Locals are accepted at a lower rate
• Two recent supervisor references must be provided
• Must complete e-learning modules as part of orientation
• First time travelers will be considered
