Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MO or Compact license and at least two years of recent ER experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Patient ratio is 1:4 in the ER
• Care for a diverse patient population with cases including cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, psychiatric, respiratory, and trauma emergencies
• Shifts alternate between days and mids (0700-1900, 0900-2100, 1100-2300, and 1300-0100)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required; SAFE provided by facility
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy and phlebotomy, medication administration, and emergency services
• Ability to manage patients needing care for neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, psychiatric, respiratory, and shock/trauma emergencies
• Two professional references are required
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card needed for consideration

• Navy blue scrubs are required for this unit
