American Traveler is seeking a Dermatology Clinic RN with an active CA license, BLS, and outpatient dermatology experience.

Details

• Work in an outpatient dermatology clinic setting
• Patient population includes individuals with common and complex skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair disorders, bullous disease, skin cancer, and wound care
• Care includes general dermatology, MOHS surgery, dermatologic surgery, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, laser surgery, tele-derm visits, and cosmetic dermatology
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No blocked or self-scheduling available
• Uses Cerner EMR; prior Cerner experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in ambulatory/outpatient clinic and dermatology
• Experience with dermatologic procedures such as MOHS surgery, laser therapy, and phototherapy required
• Acute care setting experience required
• Must pass an EKG examination (up to 3 attempts)
• Cerner charting experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care and assist with dermatologic procedures, including phototherapy and MOHS surgery
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No RTO (requested time off) permitted within the first two weeks of assignment
• Returning staff must have been gone for at least one year to be eligible
• All required orientation modules must be completed prior to start
• Parking costs are not included
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Professional attire or scrub requirements according to clinic policy
