American Traveler is seeking an experienced RNFA with recent CVOR experience and an active Ohio or Compact RN license for a night shift position.

Details

• Work in the CVOR with potential floating to the Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Includes weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements discussed during interview
• Cares for adult CVOR patients including vein harvesting

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required
• RNFA certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent CVOR RNFA experience prior to travel
• Must have experience with vein harvesting
• No open or hit licenses accepted
• Must provide at least one recent reference from a supervisor or physician in CVOR specialty

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include first assisting in cardiovascular operating room procedures and vein harvesting
• Must complete additional facility credentialing prior to start to obtain privileges
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation with two attempts allowed
• Negative 10-Panel + Nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Permanent candidates cannot return to the same health system for 1 year following their end date
• Onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting required prior to start
• Modules must be completed pre-start and annually as required by facility
• Facility is temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirement for nurses
• PAPRs are not accepted for caregivers with facial hair except with approved exemption
